POSITION DESCRIPTION : The position is responsible for assisting the Assistant Director and Manager of the CCS Bookstore and Imaging Center, as well as to support a close working relationship with all campus constituencies to insure quality service to students, faculty and staff.

This position is shared between two service centers.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Responsible for performing cash register operations.
• Greet and assist customers in Bookstore and Imaging Center
• Responsible for stocking, pricing, and maintaining both workspaces.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for Bookstore and Imaging Center
• Assist with visual merchandising and store displays.
• Assist in processing and shipping online orders.
• Assist in yearly inventory process.
• Process digital files to both laser and inkjet printers, as well as, performing wire and plastic coil binding.
• Provide basic maintenance to both laser and inkjet printers, including nozzle checks and changing toner or ink
• Assist in training and day-to-day instruction of CCS student work studies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS :

• One to two years of retail experience required.
• Experience with POS systems highly desirable.
• Must have excellent customer relation, organization and communication skills.
• Must be reliable, dependable and punctual.
• Knowledge of print processes and color management
• Ability to work with a diverse student and campus environment.
• Must be able to lift up to lift heavy boxes, climb ladders and perform other labor tasks.
• Evening and weekend hours may be required.
• Proficient computer skills preferred, Adobe Design Software

Work Environment

The work environment for an HVAC Technician is both diverse and dynamic. It encompasses indoor and outdoor settings across the campus.

Indoor work involves navigating classrooms, laboratories, offices, and other campus spaces to maintain HVAC systems that contribute to a comfortable atmosphere.

Outdoor tasks may include maintaining exterior HVAC equipment, troubleshooting units on rooftops, and addressing HVAC needs in outdoor facilities.

Physical Demands

This position involves frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting, often in confined spaces and at varying heights.

Technicians must be able to lift and manipulate heavy equipment and components as well as work comfortably on ladders and elevated platforms.
